From an article that I read recently:
“In inflation-adjusted terms, oil is just short of its historic peak, reached in 1980. That price, $39.50 a barrel, translates to $103.76 in today’s money.”
Wow, in 30ish years, our dollar is worth almost 1/4 of what it used to be worth. This is ridiculous.
