I need my wifi autoconfig to do this.
That rules.
Better blog posting than wordpress

Found a nifty firefox extension: ScribeFire
It’s nice to be able to do some lame blogging within the page. Works well, except I’m currently typing off the screen…
I know you didn’t see that, but it doesn’t scroll well. Make sure to close the side bar on the right so you can see all the things you’re doing. It provides all the nifty interfaces and such.
I don’t see tags or categories in here… Maybe it’ll show up when I hit Publish
Edit: Nope it didn’t :/ that’s lame. It’ll probably be uninstalled.
Wesley Snipes the IRS
by David Kowis on Apr.24, 2008, under politics
I don’t usually like stuff from CNN, but this article is pretty good. Even though they’ve put the spin on it that the guvmint is correct to think that it owns everyone’s money.
Wesley Snipes has stuck it to the man!
He fought his “criminal” tax evasion charges in court and won! I love how the Treasury Department now assumes that it owns our money:
“For nearly a decade Snipes has engaged in a campaign of criminal tax conduct combining brazen defiance with insidious concealment,” the prosecutors say. “By these means Snipes has escaped paying more than $15 million in income tax to the IRS and has pursued an intended fraudulent harm to the United States Treasury of more than $41 million.”
“Intended fradulent harm” The man wants to keep his money! That’s a freedom we still have, I hope. I think this is indeed a victory for Snipes and for the American people. Show the guvmint that our money is ours, not theirs.
McCain gas tax cuts (but only for the summer)
by David Kowis on Apr.15, 2008, under Gripes, politics
OMG what a wonderfully useless idea!
The federal gas tax is 18.4 cents on the gallon. Lets do some simple math (for my Pontiac Vibe GT):
13 * .184 * 4 = 9.56800
I might save less than $10 a month, for the 3 (maybe 4) months of summer I’ll have an extra $40.
Even with a big SUV type gas tank, say 25 gallons:
25 * .184 * 4 = 18.4
So you’ll save $20 a month. Statistically the amount of money saved is the same.
This is a publicity stunt. A lame one, at that. If anyone actually gives any real thought to this, they’ll realize that the government is probably going to spend more money advertising this than anyone will actually save.
Xen Stats

http://shlrm.org/xenstats/ (original scripts here)
Now you can view the stats on who’s doing the most work in my Xen hosts. Yay.
It explodes if there’s a halted vm. It’s not built to handle the new xen 3.0 lifestyle of things. I guess I’ll be learning myself some python. Or I’ll translate it all to bash ;) I could probably do it in bash. Not that python isn’t used for everything in xen anyway. Okay, now I’m rambling.
